Paddle the River,
Pedal the Katy Trail, Camp at the River's Edge -- It's All Here! An easy
two-hour drive from Kansas City or St. Louis!
Paddle downriver then take our shuttle back to Rocheport OR ride
your bike back to Rocheport on the Katy Trail!
Or if you prefer, we can meet you in Huntsdale and drop off your camping
gear. Spend the night at Katfish Katy's popular riverfront campground! Hot
showers, a convenience store and clean restrooms are only steps away!
A popular option for our paddlers is to float the 6.6 miles to Huntsdale,
and rather than returning in our shuttle, we can transport your bicycles
down to Huntsdale for you and have them waiting for you. That way, you can
drop off the canoe, enjoy a short stop at the Katfish Katy's Convenience
Store, then hop on your bicycle and ride the Katy Trail 6.6 miles back to
Rocheport.
This allows for an even more fulfilling day -- you can see the river and
then pedal the trail. Round off the day with dinner in Rocheport at
Abigail's Restaurant, The Cracked Crab, Trailside Cafe, or the Les Bourgeois
Winery & Bistro.
Then spend the night at one of Rocheport's bed & breakfasts: Yates House
B&B, the Schoolhouse B&B, or the Katy Trail Bed & Bikefest, or
Amber House B&B.
